Listen. Design. Implement.

Have I understood my client's needs? Have I designed the best possible solution for my client?

These questions can never grow tired. They underpin everything we do at Langshore.

Ione McMahon

Ione specialises in delivering bespoke financial planning and wealth management, focusing on building strong, trusted relationships with businesses, individuals, and their families over the long term. She is committed to supporting her clients through every generation and distinct stage of their life, work, and family situations.

Alongside her holistic approach to preserving and growing family wealth, Ione holds qualifications in specialist areas such as alternative investments. She also brings expertise to navigating the complex financial landscape of divorce cases. As a member of Resolution, she is dedicated to a constructive and empathetic approach to the financial planning part of sensitive family law matters.

Ione started her working life in a FTSE 100 company before re-training to teach in secondary schools as part of the pioneering Fast Track teaching scheme while her children were young. Drawing on this diverse, real-world experience, she brings a deep understanding and a truly personal, boutique service to the financial planning process at Langshore.

In her spare time, Ione enjoys family life, theatre, and trying new sports. This year, she is also completing fundraising runs for the charity ‘Music in Hospitals and Care’—a cause close to her heart because of how live music brings joy to those who might otherwise miss out. She loves involving her whole family in these events, including her energetic spaniel.
