Client Service Charter

What is the service you can expect as a client?

Our purpose is to help individuals and households to manage their financial affairs. We do so through the service we provide. By its very nature, this is a highly personal service which requires regular contact and trust between all parties.  

What is a Client Service Charter?

The Charter describes the different elements of this service. A service we will provide to you throughout your relationship with Langshore Financial Management. 

Why is the Charter important?

The Charter is the written expression of our lived commitment to deliver an outstanding service. It enables both parties to understand what will happen during the course of your relationship with Langshore Financial Management.  

The Charter: what we will do

  • Understand you, your priorities, and what matters to you.
  • Understand your financial circumstances, needs and goals.
  • Meet you at least annually, often more frequently. 
  • Find out if anything has changed since we last met.
  • Help you understand your appetite for investment risk.
  • Help you understand your investment options.
  • Develop an investment plan for you.
  • Review your investments and fund choices.
  • Make changes to your investment portfolio, as required, to deliver your plan. 
  • Adapt your financial plan to changing circumstances. 
  • Help you maximise your annual tax allowances.
  • Apprise you of legislative or fiscal changes that could impact you.


The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the value of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.
